my father was in prison for 36 years of my life. he was released, and we were able to spend 9 years together before he passed away. he lived fighting in the streets and in prison alone and afraid, but he died having a deep personal relationship with jesus and feeling love, peace, and joy surrounded by his family. i do not know how it feels to be a prisoner but i know how having a loving family and friends can lend strength and support to a prisoner. i hope to provide that type of support for those who need it. if it leads to romance, that is just icing on the cake.
