Jackifree, 61

I was incarcerated for 40 years, from the age of 19 to 59. I am 61 but feel 40. I have an amazing daughter whom I have had the blessed chance to get to know and love, and who is finally proud of me. I have been out for 2 1/2/ years now, but I have found it hard to find someone who understands that I am different, I am happier, and hate arguing. I don't like conflict or drama. I just want to enjoy life, love, and happiness. I was sentenced to LWOP and should have died in prison, so after decades of believing that and to now be free, I am different, I am happier. I have a great job working for a non-profit helping those who are returning home and working with youth to keep them from going to prison, and the life I live. I am hoping to meet someone who will accept me for my past but see me for who I am now.
