While incarcerated, I made the choice to turn my life around. I enrolled in a leadership program that pushed me to grow mentally and emotionally, shaping me into a stronger focused man. Through that journey, I became a mentor, guiding others on their own paths to self-improvement. I also started schooling in welding, gaining hands on skills that will open doors for my future. This experience has been more than just learning a trade, it’s about transformation and reslience and preparing for my return to society.
