I'm a former attorney who made a foolish, one-time, non-violent decision that cost me everything I hold dearest. Was incarcerated for less than two years, then paroled.
Through a renewed and strong faith in God, along with the love and support of those who care about me, I've made a fresh start, refusing to be defined by my past, and being steadfastly hopeful and confident about what the future may bring.
Currently, I work as the Director of Technology & Funding Innovation for a non-profit company which helps persons who are homeless, recovering from substance abuse, and/or formerly incarcerated to obtain the essential services and programs that will help them to rebuild their lives and become people with purposes, rather than people in need. By helping others, I continue to grow and heal.
