Hello everyone! I am a 28 year old single mother of a 2 year old son. I used to have a hobby of writing pen pals but I got out of it several years back. I decided that I wanted to get back into this hobby again and I have a uncle in prison for the rest of his life, so I thought what better way to start this hobby again then writing people who really needed and appreciated the letters I sent! So I am now starting to write pen-pals in prison. I came to this group in hopes of two things. One that I could help understand a little bit more about friends/family going through this and offer support if at all possible and that I could hopefully share a wonderful site I found that may interest some of you.
The site is (removed). You can ask questions or get advice from real people in prison, there are several other things on the site that are also interesting like a pen-pal section. I am getting NOTHING from this site nor is it my site. I have talked to the creator of the site who is a warden of a prison and is pen-pals with some of these men/woman. I just found the site to be very interesting and helpful in my new hobby that I hope to have a lifetime!
